Only Bama and UGA remain undefeated. UGA might really be good, but they're probably peaking too early and will fizzle.
The rest of the league is uniformly mediocre. The traditional bottom-dwellers (Vandy, State, and Kentucky) have caught up with the leagues middle tier (SC, LSU, etc.)
Outside of Bama and (for now) UGA, an SEC conference game is a pick 'em. Might as well toss a coin to determine the outcome. People are saying it's cyclical and the SEC is just down right now. Could be more to it than that, though. The lack of competitiveness and excitement is turning people off.
Look at Vandy. They were 3-0 going into a home game against Bama. Their fans all sold their tickets to Bama fans. The stadium was about 70% crimson!
Seems like the SEC is becoming a damaged brand. Their own fans at least seem to be still drinking the Kool Aid, but the spectacle that once was SEC football has turned into Bama ball.
